Laser Engraving Precautions

● Before laser engraving, ensure the metal surface is clean. You can also clean the metal with a clean cloth and industrial alcohol. Engraving on a dirty metal surface is more prone to errors.
● Spray the laser engraving spray evenly onto the metal, using a moderate amount to prevent the metal from becoming translucent. Excessive spray may require re-engraving.
● When engraving a material for the first time, perform a test run. Engraving settings vary by metal type. Testing helps you determine the optimal laser speed and power settings.
● Use the raster setting for all images, graphics, and text. Enable autofocus or use manual focus for better alignment.
● If the engraved pattern peels off, reduce the engraving speed. A slower speed generates more heat, resulting in better fusion.
