Components of a laser cutting machine

Laser cutting machine system consists of laser generator, beam transmission components, worktable (machine tool), microcomputer numerical control cabinet, cooler and computer (hardware and software) and other components.

Machine tool host part: the machine tool part of the laser cutting machine, to realize the movement of the X, Y, Z axis of the mechanical part, including the cutting work platform. Used to place the cut workpiece, and can move correctly and precisely according to the control program, usually driven by servo motors.

Laser Generator: A device that generates a laser light source. For the use of laser cutting, in addition to a few occasions using YAG solid-state lasers, the vast majority of the use of electrical - optical conversion efficiency and can output a higher power of CO2 gas lasers. Due to the laser cutting on the beam quality requirements are very high, so not all lasers can be used as cutting.

External Optical Path: Refractive mirrors used to direct the laser in the desired direction. In order to keep the beam path from failing, all mirrors should be protected by a protective cover and passed into a clean positive pressure protective gas to protect the lens from contamination. A set of good performance of the lens will be a non-diverging angle of the beam focused into an infinitely small spot.

CNC system: control the machine tool to realize the X, Y, Z-axis movement, but also control the output power of the laser.

Voltage stabilized power supply: connected between the laser, the CNC machine and the power supply system. The main role of preventing interference with the external power grid.

Cutting head: mainly includes cavity, focusing lens holder, focusing mirror, capacitive sensor and auxiliary gas nozzle and other parts. The cutting head drive device is used to drive the cutting head along the Z-axis direction according to the program, which is composed of servo motor and transmission parts such as silk rod or gear.

Operation desk: used to control the working process of the whole cutting device.

Chiller unit: used to cool the laser generator. Cooling water to take away excess heat to maintain the normal operation of the laser generator. The chiller group also cools the reflector and focusing mirror of the optical path outside the machine to ensure stable beam transmission quality and effectively prevent the lens from being deformed or blown up due to high temperature.

Gas cylinders: including laser cutting machine working medium gas cylinders and auxiliary gas cylinders, used to replenish the laser shock of industrial gases and supply cutting head with auxiliary gases.

Air compressor, storage tank: provide and store compressed air.

Air cooling dryer, filter: used to supply clean and dry air to the laser generator and beam path to maintain the normal operation of the path and reflector.

Extraction and dust removal machine: to extract the smoke and dust generated during processing and filtering treatment, so that the exhaust gas emissions in line with environmental protection standards.

Dredging machine: Excluding the edge remnants and waste materials generated during processing.
